Senior Machine Learning Researcher

Job description

We need world-class machine learning scientists!

Corti is the digital assistant that helps medical personnel make critical decisions in the heat of the moment. We imagine a future where all medical professionals can be augmented by artificial intelligence to better diagnose patients, reduce uncertainty, and eliminate fatal errors.

Our ever-growing team spans multiple disciplines, with an emphasis on machine learning, mathematics, security, and computer science. If you want to take part in solving real problems, you’ll become an integral part of a fun, autonomous, and team-oriented culture, guided by shared values, high quality, and a willingness to act and fail.

About you

As a Machine Learning Researcher, you will be an integral part of developing our machine learning framework in cohesion with cutting edge research. You are an expert within a machine learning area, preferably theory, audio, and/or NLP, but you have no problems in broadening your scope. You will be expected to contribute to the community by publishing and attending conferences such as NIPS, ICML, ICLR etc.

Practicalities We are committed to bringing in top talent from all sectors and countries. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. The position is full time and starts as soon as possible at our offices in Copenhagen.

  • Track record of bringing novel machine learning methodologies or applications into the research community, as demonstrated by one or more first-author publications published at top machine learning venues.
  • Software development is a passion, and you have extensive experience with assorted popular languages such as Python.
  • Extensive experience with one or several of the machine learning frameworks, e.g. Tensorflow and PyTorch.
  • You stay up-to-date with research, tools, and news in the community. Giving an elaborate explanation to your favourite research paper, published in the last 2 months, should be simple.
  • Preferably you hold a Ph.D. focus on computer science, statistics, and math.

  • Experience within audio or NLP.
  • A strong theoretical background.
