What to Expect

Join a recently established product team at Corti focused on revolutionizing medical coding as a Senior Fullstack Developer. Corti Code assists healthcare staff with tedious administrative work enabling them to spend more time practicing medicine and caring for patients.

Along with a skilled and mission-driven group of product managers, software engineers, and machine learning specialists, you will be responsible for building Corti’s answer to the complexities of medical coding. We are developing a product that ensures quality healthcare for all patients and believe everything should start from well-documented patient data!

You’ll get the chance to work with modern front- and backend technologies. Together with our engineers, you’ll develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces used directly by healthcare professionals around the world as well as contribute to the backend of a product that supports clients across multiple geographies.

We are located in a beautiful office, next to Nyhavn in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Coffee breaks have a whole new meaning when you can take them next to the canals! ☕ If you are not based in Copenhagen, we are also hybrid- and remote-friendly.

The Impact You’ll Have

• Owning the technical development of a highly available, performant, multi-region SaaS solution.
• Hands-on development of an early-stage solution where design choices matter.
• Collaborate across our product teams to define and improve software engineering best practices across Corti.
• Work with colleagues across teams in design and code reviews.
• The opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and to grow into a technical leadership role.

To thrive in this role you'll need…

• 2+ years of experience working on production JavaScript code (ideally TypeScript)
• Minimum 1 year experience working professionally with React
• 2+ years experience working with any other major front end libraries (e.g. Vue, Angular etc)
• 2+ years of experience working on production backend Python code.
• Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring backend REST APIs (we use fastAPI).
• Driving the joint development of front- and backend and making the right design decisions - you have seen where problems arise, know how to deal with them, and how they can be proactively avoided.
• A passion for writing clean and efficient code.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus experience or desire to learn:

• Technical leadership.
• Developing and deploying frontend applications using Electron.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools.
