Corti is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help mature our SRE capabilities as we continue growing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing, building, and managing large-scale, highly available systems, and will have a strong background in DevOps practices and automation.
The Impact you’ll have
- Working closely with product and platform teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Designing and implementing automation tools and processes to improve the efficiency of our development and operations teams.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of our systems.
- Identifying and troubleshooting performance issues in our production environments.
- Participating in on-call rotations and responding to incidents as needed, although currently not during off-hours.
- Bridge technical communication between end-users, technical leads, and Corti engineers.
- Contributing to a strong culture of development at Corti through the mentorship of more junior engineers
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- At least three years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong experience with containerization- and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with managing and operating distributed systems such as CockroachDB, Elasticsearch & Apache Kafka.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with working remotely.
- Deep experience with software and product development processes; you have seen where problems can arise, know how to deal with them, and how they can be proactively avoided.
- A tendency to thrive in crisis management and get a sort of adrenaline rush when troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Experience:
- Experience with managing and operating on-premise customer deployments.

Practicalities
- The position is remote and full-time and starts as soon as possible. The candidate must, however, be located in the U.S., and is expected to start working from 14:00 CET at the latest to ensure an overlap in working hours with European colleagues.
- Work activities cover the entire U.S., and you should be able to travel internationally for business purposes.
