About you

As a Junior Software Engineer at Corti, you will be assisting in developing and maintaining our production code. This entails anything from standard software development tasks, performance optimisation techniques and optimising machine learning models within distributed systems that range from GPUs and CPUs all the way to embedded devices. You will be expected to be at the frontier of computer science research by engaging in conferences, blog posts, and open source projects.

  • Highly disciplined and team oriented - you get a task, and you own it.
  • Experience in at least Python, Go, or Java. 
  • Worked with git.
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.



  • Previous startup or open source project experience.
  • Experienced with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI, CT, CD environments like CircleCI, Travis, Jenkins, etc.
  • Familiar with cloud services (AWS, Azure GCP).
  • General understanding of HPCExperience with machine learning.
