To help us reach our goals, we are hiring a Business Development Executive that will be responsible for driving growth in the healthcare sector. In this position, you will aggressively prospect, develop, and manage new sales accounts. You will be responsible for driving new and existing business development and converting prospective clients into customers. You’ll report to our CEO and will be supported in your mission by our strong team.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in business development, preferable preferably from the healthcare sector, where you would have an established network.

 

About You

  • Technical understanding and interest is a must(we build and sell artificial intelligence!!)
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in public safety software or a related industry.
  • Able to travel 25% of time.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a business development role.
  • Experience in management consulting is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced digital environment.
  • Exhibits confidence and is resilient in the face of rejection.
  • Persuasive, capable of building a good case to prospective clients, developing relationships with high-level decision makers, and making a compelling presentation to close business.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to understand and resolve prospective client challenges/objections.
  • Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; excellent follow-up skills.

Requirements

The Role:

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities from internally generated leads, client/partner referrals, cold calling, and industry trade shows to consistently meet annual sales goals.
  • Provide professional product demonstrations both on site and remotely via web meetings.
  • Create and maintain positive, effective relationships with existing and potential clients and business partners.
  • Write professional sales proposals, responses to requests for proposals (RFP), and responses to requests for Information (RFI).
  • Manage and maintain sales pipeline as well as projected contract closing dates.
  • Assist in the development and execution of territory sales plan to identify and close business opportunities in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Track activity such as new opportunities created, meetings, demos, etc. in our CRM.
  • Attend conferences, tradeshows, and conferences as a company representative.
  • Continuously stay abreast of new company technologies and services to maintain competitive advantage.
